COVID 19 Update
In these uncommon times, it is so important for us to stay connected. Even if we cannot be together in the building, we are certainly together in the Spirit.
Join us every Sunday on YouTube, by clicking the link above, to participate in our service of Holy Communion after 9:30am.
The Gift of our LGBTQIA+ Siblings
We are committed to this work as we celebrate, during Pride Month and all year round, the gifts of our LGBTQIA+ siblings. Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton gives her weekly message during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I'm new to Christ the King!
A WORD ABOUT US
Welcome to Lutheran Church of Christ the King, a diverse group of sinners committed to reaching out and serving with the good news of Jesus Christ. Jesus welcomed tax-collectors, prostitutes and other sinners, and so we extend welcome and the kingdom of God to all. If a sinner like me is welcome, then your chances are good!
We gather every Sunday at 9:45 am to worship our God and to be fed with God’s Word in preaching, song, prayer and the bread and wine. We also host a Saturday Night Worship at 6:30 pm at King's Manor Assisted Living. As sisters and brothers in Christ, we journey as family in this walk of faith. We live out our faith in partnership with our community, particularly: Harvard Elementary School, SE Tacoma Nourish Food Bank, King’s Manor Assisted Living Community, Pierce County Habitat for Humanity and Livingstones Prison Congregation in Shelton.
LCCK is a place for youth! During the school year there is Sunday School concurrent with the service at 9:45 am. We have an amazing nursery facility if you have little ones. Wednesday Night Youth Group at 6 pm we welcome families for dinner and youth games, bible study and prayer from 6-8 pm.
Christ the King is an accessible building with no stairs and handicap accessible bathrooms. We are a RIC (Reconciled in Christ) Community that extends a particular welcome to our LGBTQ family.
We are an active, serving and welcoming church. We would love it if you came and joined us! If we can be of any help to you or answer any questions, please let us know!
